A bird world in the valley of the River Neretva

Program title: A bird world in the valley of the River Neretva

Visiting the valley of the River Neretva and the peninsula of Pelješac, areas rich in culture and natural beauty;  ride in a trupica, a traditional Neretva boat, and bird watching; enjoying the local delicacies

Ride in a trupica, the traditional Neretva boat, down the hundreds of channels and peek into the unspoilt heart of the Neretva wetlands. Find places where once the Illyrians, Greeks and Romans sailed, and the Neretva pirates started  attacks on enemy galleons. Discover the charms  of one of the last wetlands on European soil, its flora and fauna, the diversity of birds and the traditional way of life in this region. Enjoy the beauty of pristine nature on the peninsula of Pelješac. The air where the smell of the sea and the Dalmatian medicinal herbs mix, with the unpolluted sea and Mediterranean vegetation - this all represents a true vacation for the body and soul, and for all the lovers of nature and ecology, as well as for those who want to escape from the urban lifestyle. Treat yourself with top quality delicacies and excellent wines, enjoy nature and see for yourself that such places do exist!
