In the northern part of Croatia lays Zagorje, a tame picture- like region, full of charming hills, green forests and rivers along which there are numerous villages. Vast vineyards with carefully arranged vines speak of the tradition of viticulture in this region, while Zagorje offers even more. This green jewel of Croatia is rich not only in nature but also in the culture and tradition it reflects wherever you go. There are castles from the time of the Croatian nobility, places where important historical events took place. But the importance of Zagorje goes back in time even more, because here is one of the richest Paleolithic habitats of Neanderthal man in the world. Join us on this interesting journey and experience everything Zagorje offers you, from history and culture to breathtaking natural beauty. Enjoy the healing thermal waters and fascinating flavors of Zagorje delicacies. We are sure that every piece of Zagorje will completely charm you.
Tourist packages range from 1 - 8 days. The activity programme for an 8 day package includes: Day 1: Zagreb - Zaprešić - Tuheljske toplice (spa); Day 2: Čakovec - Vinica - Varaždin; Days 3 - 6: Trakošćan - Lepoglava - Krapina - Desinić - Kumrovec - Klanjec; Day 7: Medvednica Nature Park - Veternica Cave; Day 8: Zagreb. Packages are available throughout the year, for groups of between 2 - 40 people. Accommodation is provided at 2, 3 and 4 star hotels. Transport is possible with your own vehicle or provided by us, by bus. Professional guides are available in English, German, and other languages upon request.
