Visiting the diverse landscapes of the island of Brač with its rich flora and fauna and dramatic karst phenomena, visiting rural areas and enjoying nature, distinctive dining experience in rural households
The island of Brač is a special Adriatic island in many ways. Unlike many Croatian islands, Brač has its own particular interior, a rich flora and fauna and offers a more distinctive seasonal experience. Did you know that the Brač was named after the ancient Illyrian name for deer, the cult animal of its prehistoric inhabitants? Brač is an island with a remarkable diversity of landscapes that make it unique cultural, historical and natural area. In particular what stands out is its beautiful southern side, between Vidova gora Mountain, Zlatni rat Beach in Bol and Blaca desert, constituting a unique area where fishing, farming and pastoral Brač meet. Brač stone, diligently processed by Brač locals, is famous in the world, and found a place even in the building of the White House in Washington. The fields of medicinal herbs, fragrant homemade bars of soap, gastronomic experiences with excellent Brač wines - all this is the island of Brač, awaiting your arrival!
