Proud Lika and Velebit, the Croatian cult mountain, will charm every visitor with its unique bio-diversity, special reserves, protected areas, karst landscape and, on the other side, with the richness of the fertile fields of Lika. You will be delighted with the authentic mills that still produce flour in the traditional way, as well as the wooden musical instruments, the tamburice - dangubice, made in the village of Kuterevo. There is also a bear shelter, the first and so far the only one of this kind in the world. Unique rural and urban settlements, sanctuaries and friendly locals will make your stay in this region really unique. We are sure that on this journey you will enjoy the blend of pristine nature, the cultural monuments, the strong tradition of this region and the simple and special gastronomy. Dive into the arms of Lika and Velebit and feel all their warmth and beauty that you will long remember!
Tourist packages range from 1 - 5 days. The activity programme for a 5 day package includes: Day 1: Zagreb - Kuterevo - Velebit National Park; Days 2 - 3: Velebit National Park - Krasno - Zavižan - Gospić - Paklenica National Park; Day 4: Grabovača Cave Park - Smiljan - Gacka Valley; Day 5: Zagreb. Packages are available throughout the year, for groups of between 2 - 40 people. Accommodation is provided in a mountain hut, at family households and at 2, 3 and 4 star hotels. Transport is possible with your own vehicle or provided by us, by bus. Professional guides are available in English, German, and other languages upon request.
