In the beautiful Podravina valley near the River Drava and on the slopes of Bilogora lies Koprivnica, a charming town rich in culture and tradition. While slowly cycling and walking through the town, get a peak into its history from Leonardo da Vinci until the present day. Apart from a bicycle museum in the open, this town can also boast of one of the most beautifully arranged squares of continental Croatia. Friendly hosts, a rich cultural and historical heritage, and museums and galleries will make your stay unforgettable. You should try the specialties of the Podravina region, especially the traditional dishes which you will be able to enjoy with an emphasis on the authentic atmosphere of the Podravina region. Do not miss the excellent wines and eco products made of nettle, a plant that is the symbol of Koprivnica. Apart from this, you should know that the magical sound of the ‘cimbule’ (a folk instrument) will awaken a desire in you to come again!
Tourist packages range from 1 - 5 days. The activity programme for a 5 day package includes: Day 1: Zagreb - Koprivnica; Days 2 - 4: Koprivnica and surroundings; Day 5: Zagreb. Packages are available throughout the year, for groups of between 2 - 40 people. Accommodation is provided at rural households and at 3 and 4 star hotels and apartments. Transport is possible with your own vehicle or provided by us, by bus. Professional guides are available in English, German, and other languages upon request.
