Enjoying bird watching in Žumberak, Lonja field, Kopački rit, River Drava, Vrana Lake and the delta of the River Neretva; exploring unusual and rare birds species; tasting the local delicacies
They are only a few places in the world that can boast of preserving natural resources, therefore we invite you to explore the diverse fauna of birds in a relatively small area in our country. We have recorded about 400 species of birds, of which 230 are nesting birds. This places us in Europe at the top of the diversity of bird fauna. From the ornithological point of view our area is interesting because of the Mediterranean species, marine and offshore species, wetland species, the great diversity of prey species and the species whose northern and western borders of their range is right here in Croatia. If you want to see unusual, rare and unknown species, and also enjoy the culinary delicacies, excellent wines and friendly locals and the unspoilt natural heritage, by coming to Croatia - you will come to the right place!
Tourist packages range from 5 - 10 days. The activity programme for a 10 day package includes: Day 1: Crna Mlaka - Žumberak Nature Park; Day 2: Drava - Podravina; Days 3 - 4: Kopački rit Nature Park - Osijek; Day 5: Lonja field Nature Park - Krapje; Days 6 - 7: Vrana Lake; Days 8 - 9: Neretva Valley; Day 10: Pelješac. Packages are available throughout the year, for groups of between 2 - 40 people. Accommodation is provided at family households and at 3 and 4 star hotels. Transport is possible with your own vehicle or provided by us, by bus. Professional guides are available in English, German, and other languages upon request.
