Active stay on Papuk Mountain in Slavonia; enjoying the natural resources and developing environmental awareness in accordance with the laws of nature; sightseeing tours of cultural and historical heritage of this part of Slavonia
Amid the wide, vast Slavonian plain, rise Papuk and Krndija, mountains rich in mysterious forests, and flora and fauna, but also in cultural heritage. Discover the story of this fascinating area, Papuk Mountain that was once upon a time the island of the southern part of the Pannonian Sea. Learn the laws of nature that rule here, learn about the old crafts the locals are still engaged in, and feel the life of this region nowadays. Along with the natural splendor of the mountains, on this journey you will see interesting places and towns of Slavonia, just waiting to be visited. Slavonski Brod, Osijek and Đakovo will tell you interesting historical stories, and you will experience the rich tradition of Slavonia in small towns scattered across the beautiful plain. Come and meet the locals, learn first hand about everything you want to know, treat your taste buds to traditional Slavonian delicacies and experience the hospitality of the big Slavonian soul.
Tourist packages range from 1 - 8 days. The activity programme for an 8 day package includes: Day 1: Zagreb - Bilogora - Podravina; Days 2 - 4: Papuk Nature Park; Day 5: Slavonski Brod – Đakovo - Našice; Day 6: Požega - Kutjevo - Velika; Day 7: Orahovica - Višnjica - Virovitica; Day 8: Zagreb. Packages are available throughout the year, for groups of between 2 - 40 people. Accommodation is provided in a mountain hut and at 2, 3 and 4 star hotels. Transport is possible with your own vehicle or provided by us, by bus. Professional guides are available in English, German, and other languages upon request.
