Visiting the reserve in the village of Beli on the island of Cres, a shelter of the griffon vulture, an endangered bird species; enjoying the symphony of colors, scents and flavors of the islands of Cres and Lošinj; exploring the natural and cultural resources of the islands
Whatever you expect from your journey, the islands of Cres and Lošinj are a true challenge. This is an area with about 190 recorded bird species, the home of the beautiful griffon vulture, which you can adopt and join the programme of protection of the last colony of these birds in Croatia, and the preservation of green oases in the north of the island of Cres. Apart from the vultures, here we will see white, gray and golden eagles, the gray falcon, long-eared owls, forest owls, Eurasian scops owls, swifts and gulls. A kingdom of nature awaits you also on the island of Lošinj, where you will experience a symphony of colors, scents and flavors while enjoying the island’s traditional cuisine based on wild, aromatic herbs and olive oil. Cultural content will not be lacking either. The statue of the ancient Greek athlete Apoxyomenos, one of seven in the world, is situated in Mali Lošinj. You will be surprised with the flavor of lamb and Kvarner scampi, the aroma of homemade brandy and buka, a local wine from the isle of Susak, to round off this true island magic.
Tourist packages range from 2 - 8 days. The activity programme for an 8 day package includes: Day 1: Zagreb - Valbiska - Merag - Cres; Day 2: Beli - Cres; Day 3: Lubenice - Vransko jezero (Lake Vrana) - Mali Lošinj; Day 4: Susak - Ilovik; Days 5 - 7: Veli Lošinj; Day 8: Mali Lošinj - Merag - Valbiska - Zagreb. Packages are available throughout the year, for groups of between 2 - 40 people. Accommodation is provided at 3 and 4 star hotels. Transport is possible with your own vehicle or provided by us, by bus. Professional guides are available in English, German, and other languages upon request.
